The LONG wait! 28+weeks egg colour

My girls have finally laid eggs!
I have been waiting weeks, months! feels like eternity.
Many speculation about them being roosters, but FINALLY have proof.
My girls have both laid light brown one has a pinky hue.
Today I brought my girls out a treat and one of them didn’t come out, I took a peak in the house and she was in the nesting box I KNEW she was laying. Her first tiny little egg
kinda sad my bantam Cochin X OE laid a brown egg but I searched for green egg practically dreaming about coloured eggs for months only to laugh at my self.

I have a Welsummer x EE so I’m hoping she will lay green eggs. She’s only 4 months, so we will see. How old are your chickens?

Me tooo! My other two hens got caught by a weasel a couple months ago and we were devastated. we haven’t had eggs since.
the black is 32.5 weeks and red is 29.5 late layers lol
