"No" She snorted sarcasticly "But I thought it would do you good to hear it again!"

"I hear it from Darkus everyday!" She shot back. Moron, she thought.

"Good!" Adrianna hissed "At least I won't feel so guilty when Raven and Danica kill you!"

Shaherii just threw her head back and laughed.

Adrianna leaned her head back against the cage and tried to sleep.

Night drew nearer to the castle, making the already dark castle even darker. Shaherii melted away into the shadows, the guards remaining beside Adrianna's castle. "Sleep well," One whispered mockingly. The others snickered in laughter.

Adrianna shivered with fear, drawing herself up into a small ball.

Another guard tightened the ropes restraining Adrianna's hands, the ropes cutting into her flesh and rubbing it raw.

Adrianna winced, tucking her head between her knees as a single tear rolled down her cheek.
