Connor thought he heard his brother yelling at someone. He couldn't get off of the eggs though. "Hey, Flower. I think my brother's yelling for some reason. Could you peek out of the burrow and see? If not, it's perfectly fine." He whispered.

"Yeah, exactly. How would I even be able to look at you anymore if I still love you but you rejected me? I don't know how I would even be able to talk to you anymore!" He yelled, filled with anger.

"I guess it's just not meant to be." She said softly.

"I guess so." He said softer. "And there I was, thinking there was at least a slight chance you would've loved me back. But, nope. No possible way." He said in the same soft voice.

Flower, feeling better, poked out her head. She winced. "He's yelling at Mist because she rejected him."

"Oof. That's too bad. He really loved her too. He told me all about how he loved her so much. And how he hoped that she loved him back." He said.
