My hens are moulting, and have laid 1 egg in the last month. we have also been having hawk attacks from migrating hawks. What happens to the eggs that are in the cycle when they stop laying?

They Will lay there last egg and then not release any more as the protein needed for eggs will be used in re-growing feathers.
