Does anyone have a flavored vodka that they like? I haven't found one I really love, although I did find out that I don't care for Stoli Blueberry at all. I read that Smirnoff has come out with a blueberry flavor, which maybe I'll try.

I'll give Gordons a try. I don't know if I've ever had it.

Yeah, wet and dirty martinis with really, really good olives. Sorry, classic Stoli vodka for me.

wet is sweet vermouth, not dry

dirty is olive juice in the tini, just enough that it looks dingy

So slightly sweet and salty...

One of the local restaurants makes fruit infusion martinis, vodka with fruit soaked in it for ~10 days. The fruit is discarded at the end, a bit of sugar is added, and the vodka tastes WONDERFUL! Pear, ginger, tangerine... If you like vodka & fruit, try making infusions. There are lots of recipes for them on the web.

My favorite martini is the green apple variety. I've had a lot of them but like my way of prep the best:

1 part Absolut vodka
1 part Green Apple Pucker Schnapps
Splash of 7-Up
Splash of sweet & sour mix

Shake over ice in drink shaker.

The important part: rim the glass with a 50:50 mix of cinnamon and sugar!
In the fall I like to garnish with a wedge of golden delicious apple from my tree too!

Ok...I start readng this thread....and I'm thinking why is Carri Brown talking about this...isn't she pregnant...are we gonna have to have a talk with her?!.....and then I see when it started ....way last spring!!
