I'm so excited--we caught another one...with the trap my husband made. Here's the first one...

And now the 2nd one...

I noticed this one was trying to chew through the treated 2x4s to get out. If you look right behind the 2nd ones toosh, you'll see where it is trying to chew through the cage. The wire is getting all bent up from them trying to rip and pull through as well. Crazy...this one!

I don't. My neighbor and I were discussing coons the other day and she told me that during the depression, they ate coon all the time. Which as she continued to tell me is why we have so many today...noone eats it anymore. I wonder what it tastes like, but like venison, you gotta know how to cook it I'm sure!

Boil the meat off the bone, brown it in the pan, then into the croc pot with veggies and beef or chicken stock. the longer it cooks, the more tender it will be! Taste just like ..... you know
