I am going to send the pics to the guy that needed the ee roo. I don't have ee anymore. he wants colorful chicks and your roo might fit the bill.
Does he still need an EE roo???!

Thanks. Good to know this. Never heard of them before, will have to look them up. And may wind up getting rid of my others if I have a good hatch. Altougth Holly says my roo is beautiful. My wife and I have Jersey Giants we are raising form Maria Hall and plan on getting some brahmas this spring so we are kinda fond of larger breeds. How do theses lay. We were going to have Barresd as our primary eggs layers.

I have 5 girls in that pen and get 4-5 eggs most days but sometimes 2 or 3.....not bad layers. if you want great layers you need white leghorn....or super blue egg layers. Holly just hatched some SBEL.

doubtful.....he still has my lavender roo and he just bought my flock of lavs and split hens....might be going toward Ameraucanas now sorry.
I found a home for Bernard (previously Bernice) about an hour ago! Thanks for letting me know he was a he before the crowing started. I REALLY wanted some blue eggs!!!! =(

Just throwing this out there but if anyway is ever around the Chattanooga/Ooltewah area and you want/need a bantam cochin (or two, three - lol) let me know I have an excess.
They are currently at my daughters because she has much more room/land where they all free-range pretty much all day (cooped at night)
Most of these guys are from a brown/red roo over one brown/ red hen & two different Calico/hens. So, theya re pure cochin but are mixed colored.

The pic is one of the girls I've kept because I'm in awe of her coloring (even though she fits no recognized category, just real pretty eye candy). None of the boys are quite like her but many do have quite of bit of calicoing (new word - lol) on thier breat & some are basically brown/red looking (but keeping in mind a calico could have been momma).

Again, throwing it out there in case your in my neck of the woods some day. There are probably 8 or so. thanks

well my dad got flooded AGAIN! washed his fence away. said there is 3 inches of water in his garage.

my poor chickens out back are knee deep in mud I am sure. I might try to move them today. I hope the wet weather creek is not a big mess.
