just got back from the fair in Wilson co. boy the chicken building was way better this year. I felt better walking in there....even with the sick birds...Yuck.

had a good time over all. great fair if you have not been before. I think this is our one and only fair we will go too.

Saturday is the last day I think.

This is a bit off topic.....but look at the adorable kitten I found outside the Dollar General last week. She's just over one pound and this is her with my 147 pound mastiff/great dane mix who is, for some reason, terrified of her,

I wanted to let y'all know first.....I am going to sell 2 pairs of Isabelle split Marans. I will not sell any more till I start hatching from them. they are near point of lay so I have done the hard part. I need the pen space and money lol. PM me if you are interested.....they are not cheap. a pair of lavender sold for over $2000 over a year ago and a pair of Isabelle sold over the summer for $300. SUPER RARE!


Going on Craigslist tonight. I can post pics there.

So the puppy has found a home. Thank goodness because I have been on the wait list for the OE Sheepdog rescue and we finally got picked for a 4 year old dog. Going to get him on Monday. (squee!)
