The Middle Tennessee Thread

Your secrets are safe with me! Lol. Glad to see Brutus again. ( the black laced roo) he is sure a looker.

If you ever need help moving birds or anything let me know. I'm off all next week and weekend.

My project is to move my two big pens together and attach the tunnel so they can use both for now till they get older and around spring time.

I might take you up on that after Christmas. They will need cleaning again by then LOL.

Well we have been talking and we came up with a plan..... My hatching area is REALLY SMALL like 10 x 12 and I am really cramped in there to say the least. SO the plan is when we finish the new hatcher TinTennessee made for me we are going to take my incubator apart so we can move it. Should only take an hour or so. I can use the old hatcher to hold eggs temporarily during the move. The new room would be about 12 by 25 and I can control the temp better in there too. I am excited about that move..... now where is hubby going to move his workout equipment?????? I will have to move the PINK SINK too LOL.

Hello everyone!. Does anyone where I can get Cuckoo Marans with feathered legs? My hubby really wants some but the only Cuckoo Marans that I can find have clean legs. Thanks in advance for your help.

I have cuckoo's with feathered legs......maybe the only one in the state with them. very hard to find them.

That is awesome! I will definitely be contacting you in the spring about them. I think that you are the only one who has them here. I have been looking for months with no luck.

Thought today would be a wash out..... no rain to speak of so we cleaned the back breeding pens.... ALL of them and I replaced the plastic in one that was really bad. Also cleaned 3 big brooders and moved all those birds. Also moved the babies that were ready out to the shop. SUPER BUSY today.

Hope everyone fairs well in this storm.... wow it hit hard, but I thought with the temps as high as they were today it would be bad.

didn't expect any damage but it sure blew everything. it picked up a wet rug with 2 small cast iron chairs and took it 30 feet away. no damage though....just debris.

Did everyone fair ok?
