Ok anyone know anyone that rents like inflatable water slides for a reasonable price? I am wanting one on the 18th of this month for my DD B-day and wasn't expecting to pay 200.00...
Hey…depends on where you are located. We rented one last weekend for grandsons Mickey Mouse party and it was a combo Mickey bounce house with slide on the side that you could put water in on the bottom ….it was $125 for set up delivery and pick up and they brought it at 10AM and picked it up at 7PM….all we did was put in "bounce houses for rent" on google and tons came up,….there's one in Murfreesboro called boro bounce houses but we were not in their delivery area …I think the one she used was Just 4 Fun, but not positive. I'd call her and ask but she's out of the country right now. …..hope this helps.

Finally got all the chicks out of the house and into the chicken house! Whew, so much easier to care for out there, and now that it's warmed up alot, no light needed except at night. Now, if they would all just get along together....LOL, I've got 3 groups of chicks, all about 3 weeks apart, and I've tried to integrate them but all the older ones want to do is peck on the littler ones....

Just a caution -- I moved 3 out yesterday & lost 2/3 to cold (caught the 3rd just in time, appears to be saved) last night after a sweltering mid-80s day. I didn't think it would be too cold!!! I do live at a high elevation in Eastern Middle TN so folks not on a mtn are likely fine, but I was very shocked as I've moved ones this age out b/f w/o issue. At least the ones w/ the broody are all fine and I have more hatching as I type.

For those with outdoor cats- there is a feline disease sweeping through Tennessee called bobcat fever. Bobcats carry it and it is spread by ticks that pass it to domestic cats. It is almost always fatal to cats.
My Dodger was fine this past weekend, a little lethargic on Monday and then sick by last night. I took him the vet this morning and they are working on him, but the prognosis is at best 50/50. The vet said she has seen three cats die of it in the past couple of weeks. I am praying that my Dodger is one of the lucky ones that makes it, but i am preparing my heart for the worst.
If you have outdoor cats make sure you are treating them with a tick preventative. I had not treated mine yet because the season is just getting started and our issue has always been fleas and not ticks. Apparently ticks are going to be a huge problem this year.

Soooo... That is my public service announcement for the week. If you are the praying sort i would appreciate your prayers for the Artful Dodger. He's such a good boy.
