Is it hard to incubate eggs. I have read a ton on it and it just seems complicated. I would like to try and do it with some silkie eggs. I would have to find some first. All I can seem to get around here is white silkies. These are gonna be my hobby.

its not too complicated. Stressful yes. Its a learning process. My first hatch was horrible. But this is my second and doing soooo much better

Do you have a homemade incubator? Or one you bought? I have seen a ton. Of plans for homemade ones. Some really simple and others more complex. Which way did you guys go and what's your opinion.

Mine is homemade and it is my second one I made! If you go to Incubator Warehouse they have some nice kits. You will want to pay attention to the size so they are not bigger then you need (as if) and will comfortable fit a turner.

Does anyone have guineas available right now? My sources are out until July. I don't care color. I just need something to help eat all these nasty ticks.

NPIP would be good.

We got our new coop today!!
The building is a 12' x 20', inside it has four stalls that are each 4' x 12',
4' x 6' brooder/ feed storage area, 4 large windows (one for each stall) and 4 run doors (one for each stall) so the chickens can free range!
