Hi all! Hope you have fun today.

My chicks spent their first night in the coop last night, I was so nervous!! They seems fine of course.

@ Holly I think I found your add on craigslist. I was curious more than anything. I may stop incubating for the year when the 2 bators still going hatch out. I had several hatch last night and this morning.

I would be up for carpooling and splitting hotel and fuel. I am undecided on if or how many showgirls I will be taking. That all depends on if others will be shown.

I have family just outside of Indy so we are going to stay near them and drive into Indy..the big rabbit show is the same weekend there...gosh can it get better than that..top chickens and top bunnies all in the same place.We are taking the jeep up so I can get all of my new finds home..and there will be some for sure-other than the roo I know I'm getting

Hmm... the First Lady's grand dad lives in Indianapolis. That kinda tempts me to go up for a visit then, just to see what a show looks like.
As a sidenote- the First Lady is having her gallbladder removed tomorrow, so give us some prayers if you find time, her's looked like a sack of rocks in the ultrasound, so they have us prepared for the traditional removal. I hope it doesn't come to that.

thanks Tish and Holly, I hope she gets well soon too. This was only discovered because of the tick fever she got earlier this year that lead to me getting chickens in the first place. She's been dealing with it for about 6 or 7 years thinking it was heartburn. I'll be glad to see it finally get dealt with.

Hope all who got together yesterday had a good time. I had family in town this weekend (still here, actually), so I've been tied up. It's good to read about all the goings on, though!

Matlock sending thoughts and prayers for your wife...the meet up was great! O and I take back my rooster egg thing...I got to thinking about it ...if that were true how would you get olive eggers
