I ate store bought eggs this morning (fried over easy)...they are REALLY not good.

With just 1-2 of my girls laying (out of 5) I am just not getting enough right now.

Any of you guys selling eggs around Nashville? I will drive out a bit. Need today if possible...I can't eat those again tomorrow!

Did you still want the Ivermectin? If so I can bring you a some eggs too. Most are pullet and lighter Marans eggs. Text me if you want, I can come anytime we can fit each other in LOL.

I have eggs available in Mt. Juliet... For eating only, they aren't fertile.

I think JW just might make it. I put him down stairs in the basement with the girls last night. He was lonely i guess, he woke me up at 5:15 am crowing. It was music to my ears. One of the two rocks even laid an egg, a nice brown with speckals the color of a marans egg. I've been getting these but just wasnt sure who was laying them. I'm pretty sure its the blue rock.

Troy glad to hear the roo may make it and sorry for your loss.. storm sure did some damage up here in springfield and Robco. For the rest of the MTN forum, is there anyone round Robertson county or so who is raising Black Jersey Giants? I am looking to expand possibly this spring.

I finally found the Tn egg law--not the fancy fresh egg markting program from TDA,https://ag.tennessee.edu/cpa/Information Sheets/cpa188.pdf--and they recommend the virginia info on hen to egg handling. Thanks for putting me onto the hunt!

Not that I am interested, but after RE-READING that.... it seems that you could even sell your eggs though a store without a permit. Interesting........ I would have thought selling in a retail store would have required the inspection permitting process. I know you could sell at a farmers market type setting, but a store just never accrued to me.

Glad to hear it! I was thinking about him today, I was going to ask you about him.

Have you heard from the insurance Co yet?

I was at my house in AC for the first time since the storms and was SURPRISED at the amount of trees that were down. Not damage at my house really, I think the cable line was hanging by a thread.... but that was all I saw. My neighbor at the top of the street had 3 HUGE trees down 2 were on his SHOP. Just crushed the back corners. Another neighbor had 6 trees UPROOTED in his back yard. Fences down, carports crushed. Too close for comfort.
