barnevelders! someone local -ish has barnies??!! they are on my long list ; >Hi and welcome! I could not imagine being without chickens.![]()
Let us know when you get some land of your own, we have a lot of breeders here in TN with lot's of different breeds. I have Black English Orpingtons. I know people on here have marans, wyandottes, cream legbars, white leghorns, barnevelders..there are a lot more breeds than that...that is just all I can think if right now.
Ok well you'll be kinda sort near me if you land in Warren coMostly Warren as DH works for Bridgestone in Morrison but we'd like to sell our farm in Florida first. Wanting to get a few good layers for eggs and meat, a couple Salmon Faverolles like we had in Florida, maybe some Polish Silkie crosses for some character. I'll look at lots of breeds but will never again own Leghorns. Buggers are MEAN! Our roo would attack on a daily basis.

Welcome to BYCJust wanted to say hi!
Moved here last month from Sunny Florida and so far loving Tennessee!!
No chickens as of right now sadlybut hoping to get some more someday soon, have to find a piece of land to call our own first. The hardest part of moving here was leaving my Florida farm and moving into a neighborhood (gulp).
Ok, pity party over
So anyways.....HI YA'LL!!
WOW...that is from the EO's!!Hello folks I'll be hatching Barnies and EO's soon naturally I will offer a discount to my friends on the Middle TN thread. I think my EO's are ready I found this little egg this morning. Also I will be retiring my Pepsi Bator if anyone is interested I plan on building a new one with a different layout.
