I have four boxes as well with six layers. They use two of them on most days. Whichever hen lays first picks the box of the day and then a second box is selected when a hen doesn't want to wait. I can choose for them by putting in a dummy egg or two. The only time I find an egg out of the boxes is when Hazel is moving eggs and drops one. She's a weird one -- wants her egg to have as many egg friends as possible and is willing to move eggs to make a bigger clutch. It took some detective work to discover how the 4 dummy eggs were migrating into one box.

Felmish Giants Avaible they are all high qualty. They do have the papers/pedigrees. These will be huge rabbits. They are located her in Sparta. They are $60.00 each if any one is interested please pm me.

Thanks

200-300? Oh my! How many peeps are you expecting?

I ordered hardware cloth last night for the juvie coop's run. Hubby had tried to talk me into poultry netting but I dug in my heels listing all of the predators known to inhabit our forest. I then shopped all of the stores around here and all over online. Ozbo beat them all on the 36x50 roll. It's longer than the 30 ft I figured I'd need but bigger is always better, right? And the 50 ft roll was so close in price to three tens that it made no sense to get the smaller ones. BTW, it ended up being the same price per foot as the 36" poultry netting at TSC which gave hubby NO room to argue.

Was shipping reasonable? I am going to need some when I start making small breeding pens. after I sell some pullets to make some more money. That feed bill really wiped my chicken money OUT! 2000lbs will do that and the some.
