I have about 5 doz I am going to eat too..... they are slacking off now. I am going to make some changes and do some more culling see if I can't make some improvements. I need to make and olive egger pen too so the iffy ones can go in there. From 16 girls down to maybe 7 in the Marans pen. I don't need 13 eggs a day

Becky let me get a roo guy to come clean out my roos and I will come get those exchequers and crosses. Maybe this weekend. How old are they again? My exchequer cross is laying, still a small egg hoping to see that improve in a few weeks.

The crosses I am not sure but probably the same age as yours, but my girl has now started yet. The Ex's, 1 is about 5-6 wks and 2 are 3 wks.I think maybe a trio. I need a roo cleaning too! I will not be home Saturday but should be home all day Sunday.
I am really opposed to eating my Marans eggs I am getting some nice chicks. I need to separate my Blues and Blacks. I have a very nice young Black roo to put with the girls too. Gotta get rid of he extra roos to make room. I may just sell all the Black Coppers I just don't know if I can they were my first breed.

I feel the same way sometime. Thinking I should just move on but they were my first breed I really wanted to work with.
