Dogs are easy to handle up here... Been doing it our whole lives between having cattle, horses, etc... Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap haha... If not I can offer several quiet methods of dealing with the dog...

We ordered 10 WC Black Polish from Dick Horstman about 3 weeks ago... slowly each one of them is dying and I can't work out WHY. One has been dying every 3-4 days and we only have four left now. They are in a brooder with other chicks and nothing is wrong with them and there have been no deaths. The only thing I can think is that the WC Polish are getting picked on.

I have had similar luck with the chicks I hatched from his eggs. I think I have 1 or 2 left. I have some chicks on order should be here anytime..... silver penciled rocks. I hope they don't do the same thing.

Gonna set my first ever eggs this afternoon.. any good tips or advice would be much appreciated. Is it better to set them at a certain time of the day? setting 8 Jersey giants and 7 Delaware /Legbar crosses excited to see how the Delaware /Legbar cross turns out

I went and checked the others too. I have two lavs and two splits and one that looks like it has a rose comb (that HUGE one) along with the white.



It was not impressed to be outside for two minutes.

Hopefully they won't. We are HOPING we get at least a trio from these chicks... If not its back to square one and order from someone else.
