Carol I forgot..... Out of the 18 SFH, 17 made it to lockdown and 16 hatched

Wow! That's wonderful! I'll be anxious to see how many crested ones you end up with, too. I love SFHs.

I meant crested SFHs. The crests usually don't show up immediately. My SFH rooster is crested but the hen that laid most of those eggs isn't crested. So you will probably have at least a few crested ones.

Donna sent the SOS text to me...because I'm the crazy lady that has taken 2 different chickens to the vet. Oh well. There is a list at UCAN (Urban Chicken Advocates of Nashville) here...http://ucannashville.org/node/12

I have been to 2 different vets and I felt I had the better experience at Airport Animal Clinic, Dr. Mike Corwin. https://plus.google.com/11330394003...hl=en#113303940036270250657/about?gl=us&hl=en
It is in Nashville near Briley & Murfreesboro Road...it's very near Genesco (if you know where that is).
