Seems that you are in the middle of .... nowhere. Guess this thread is about to being as close as you can find. Chattanooga is about the same distance to Nashville from your local.
The good thing is, this thread stays mostly active.

We're north of Nashville near the KY state line.

Check out the coop plans and project on the forums here. Get a few ideas up front. Remember to have a strong coop that is easy to clean out and protects the birds. That's easier said than done. Look around for spare/scrap wood from industries. Pallets, crates, contruction sites usually are a good source. Free wood really helps. Our local Lowes has a FREE scrap wood bin out back to pick through. If I find a few good pieces, I snag them for future projects.

I just had a call looking for roos. If you have an EE roo or Ameraucana roo he needs one. He is also looking for a BANTAM Cochin roo any color is fine for either roo. PM me with what you have and how old price and a phone so i can pass your info on to him.

Welcome , I'm smack in the middle of Springfield, Greenbriar & Whitehouse.
Donna I still have the Blue Copper Marans roo I got from you, he'll be a year old in April. I'm thinking of getting rid of him because the neighbor & wife aren't real happy with his crowing. Could you use him? I'd work out something with you if you can.
