Quote: That'll work too when do you plan on setting again...actually you probably have it set up for rotating hatches I would guess. I am getting ready to build a separate hatcher so I can rotate

Did you really ask that? Me ... .when am I setting eggs again..... LOL.that is the FUNNIEST thing I have ever heard. When I get a FULL tray of eggs or 2 trays or 3 trays. I set 81 eggs Monday.... I have room for say.... 360 more
BUT to be fair 13 of those were shipped and 25 were for an order and most of the others are to be sold.![]()
VIOLET UPDATE: Yesterday morning I investigated the poop...and it all looks normal. Nothing to indicate parasites/worms. I spent time with the girls yesterday afternoon as they free ranged and the comb wasn't quite as pale as this picture...it was back to the pale pale pink that has been the norm since the molt started. She is showing no signs of illness. She is eating and drinking, actively scratching and foraging...happy as a clam. I am hoping it was just bc of the bitter cold of that day. I will be keeping a close eye on her though.Leah I'm no Vet, but generally a pale or purple comb would be cause for a little investigation. How is she doing and please share your findings...Chad
Chad I will have LF Choc. Orps. late summer. Is that cuckoo one of yours? You are holding out on me!
I will... they will eventually all be up for grabs as I intend to pull the barring gene out and run them all back over some blacks. Why no you have not!Maybe you should !!!![]()

If I can I will try to get some more eggs. His eggs are developing GREAT Really. Sent me 22 (from CA) and 16 are developing.![]()
