The Middle Tennessee Thread

So sorry to hear that! I am doing a cut this weekend. I have to get a BCM up to bring to Soroco (BUTCH LOL) have several others (pullets and roos) that will be going on Craiglist so if I have anything he wants I am on board to donate!
Here is your Rooster Butch

He is without eletricity. I have a splash laced red wyandotte roo he can have. His roo is a blue copper. Not sure what he would want to replace him with if he does not recover.

I too am without electricity. We had it all night but this morning they took it down. A tree fell on the power lines and snapped a telephone pole in half. Odd really. We have lots of tree s down all around the house... but not any where else.

If he is half as good as looks he will be great. See you Monday.
It has been a hoe and shovel morning every drain I cleaned after the last rain had ben ****** up redirecting the flood coming down the mountain in my back yard into the run. 5 of my 20 like the rain the rest are staying in the barn with the Roo.

This used to be my coop.
How 4 of my chickens managed to survive is beyond me. Guess God likes chickens too.
So very sorry.....I know how hard this must be for you. I wish I had some chickens I could give you, I gladly would. I know there are a lot of very kind generous people on this forum who will be able to help you out. Sending prayers for your recovery and rebuild.

Thanks everyone, its gonna be awhile before I can rebuild. But I'll build it stronger, & BIGGER. Maybe even a concrete floor this time. JW my roo doesn't seem to be doing well. he's dry now, but listless.Mostly just laying in the dog crate. He's got a hole as big as my thumb in his back. I did get some water in him, but he hasn't eaten anything. :-(

Troy if he does not make it i have a splash laced red wyandotte roo. Becky may have a blue copper. I have a black copper roo you can have. I dont have a blur right now but i can grow you up one.
