Speaking of TSC they have chickies already! EE and RED pullets.... austrolorps.... ducks...... Cute, but I don't need any, I have better one hatching at my farm LOL. At $1.99 for pullets I can't compete with that.

Sure you can compete! I would rather any day, see well kept birds with parents on property, pay more, than buy from a unknown source! just saying.

Thanks HardinPoultry! I may eventually start doing silkies down the road but not anytime soon. I had a BFCB rooster I had planned on crossing with her for some sizzles but lost him. So for now Im focusing on trying to start on my Jersey flock. Need way more hens tho.

I dont think a picture will help. Each bird will lay a different color.... not the breed.

we picked up 15 today..... Yikes.. Plus my oldest picked out another mystery banty....looks like a mini EE..

One of the CMs that you sold to me is a roo.... I think I am going to put him in with my EEs next spring... We got a few at TSC today.... Any idea what I will end up with??? DH is a science teacher so I am going to try to get the school to foot the bill for the bator, let the classes hatch the eggs and then send the chicks bak to me....

Waiting on craigslist response to a coop in Chattanooga. If we don't get an answer tonight or early in the morning, we'll be in Nashville tomorrow. Should then be able to help you with your watering system or chores in the afternoon if you want. Free labor! Unskilled, but gotta start somewhere. We aren't afraid to get dirty. You have my email and phone number. I'll let you know by PM (if the powers that be will let me) as soon as we know what we are doing tomorrow. I think I have your number somewhere to call if I'm still on lockdown.
