Big THANK YOU to Becky ( raven1 ) I left her house this morning with 3 pullets & 2 chicks. I couldn't resist the exchequer chicks. I got a BCWP, Blue & a splash Marans. She has some very pretty birds and more than fair pricing. It was a pleasure to meet you , thank you again!!

There is a guy that sales eggs on CL... I can hatch them for you.

, I'll take a look.... I have an incubator...but I am to too sure hoe to use it yet...lol

Donna this is where I need your help... My biggest issue was that my hatcher dividers fell down (thanks, chicks!) and everything got mixed up. I had 7 Lav Am eggs hatch, one had weird feet so it got culled and one was 100% a black split. I am thinking I have 2 splits, 3 lav and 1 white but I am not sure about the bottom right. It MAY be an Orp but has Lav feathering coming in.

If that white one isn't an Ameraucana I don't know what it is. It is NONE of my breeds at all and has the puffy cheeks etc

Hope everyones day wasnt a total washout. We went to the lascassas swap meet. it had very few chickens there but met several great people ..A couple guys brought some awesome lil Bantams and of course now im wanting some.

Met a nice couple afterwards that lived close buy and bought three 41/2 month old Jersey Giant pullets that im very pleased with and we picked up 2 barred rock hens on the way home (yes Donna im sure they are hens..lol 2 eggs already) so over all made a pretty decent day despite the cold and rain...

I don't think I have every had a White Lavender/Split hatch WHITE???? You sure on that one? Does the chick in question have a beard and muff or a pea comb? Pics of the face will help me. That MAYBE Lav is a LOT bigger. Mine all hatch about the same size.

Well my day started out with a LIFE CHANGE. I have not absorbed it all yet. I said something to hubby about the DOG. He said I have a fix for that. I said what.... he said are you ready for this. WHAT already! We are going to buy my son's house

Over a FRIGGIN" DOG!

They want to move and can't really. SO instead of moving into the house we have been working on for MONTHS and I have been DECORATING IN MY HEAD... we are going to just sell it

My jaccuzi tub will be GONE

So I agreed as it sounded ok at first. As I have been thinking about it I am so stressed! In ways it will be good. We will get to live at the farm and can surpervise more closely the building of the new house. I like being there and not have the pressure to RUSH home.... since we will be home.

BUT THE KICKER.... we have to finish remodeling the house we are working on.... sell it. (3 Months for that MIN) Then buy his house (Maybe another 3 months before we can close on that house) Remodel THAT HOUSE

another 3-4 months so it would be NEXT YEAR before we could move in and SELL the house we live in now!

I am so hating my life right now. I HATE PAINTING AND REMODELING....... HATE IT! NEVER WANT TO TOUCH A PAINT BRUSH AGAIN! I will NOT LIFT A FINGER TO BUILD THE NEW HOUSE I AM SO DONE!

Insert a smiley with a gun to their head here.... kidding but fitting. At least my head would quit hurting..... a stupid DOG. I hate her too now.
