oramman87 i am sure the one @tractor supply is the lil giant n from my experience u will b wastin ur $ on the lil giant but good luck in your decison

Actually, they were selling the Farm Innovators for that clearance price. They had the Little Giants and Farm Innovators and had put $44.00 on all of it just to move it out. The main thing I have heard about the Little Giant is that the temperature and hydrometer is not accurate and that you need to calibrate them to find out how they are off so you can do the math and know what the true readings are. Either that or you spend some more money and replace the cheap thermometer/hydrometer with a more expensive/accurate model. I have yet to hear from anybody here on the performance of the Farm Innovators 'bator and would love to hear from anyone who has used them because I am really looking seriously at getting one. I mean if I had all the money that I want I would be buying a Sportsman cabinet incubator or a Brinsea Octogon if I was going smaller but I don't have that kind of budget.

I am still looking around and checking out reviews on different bators. That or I will make my own. But if i am gonna spend about 50 bucks making my own why not try out the one from tsc for 45 so idk yet..

I have little giants that I only use for hatchers. When I will be home for 3 days straight. I like the hovabators- I have 4 of the Genesis and except that I haven't figured out how to run it in lockdown without the fan, I couldn't be happier. Worth every penny. If you get one, go direct though GQF and save on shipping and you'll get a warranty.

I sold all of my extra ducks, but I decided to sell 2 juvenile Sebastopol geese. I believe they are female. Full curly, solid white. No twisted wing tip or angel wing. The parent stock is exceptional. I am just going to stick with the colored birds.

I can share pics of parents through PM only, as I don't own the pics. The baby pics are mine though.

ove the genesis and I have different ones I also like the innovation and jn8. All keep great temp and humidity.

I've had a Genesis for years. Bought it directly from GFQ. Their customer service is exceptional. I had a part break on the unit after about a year. They sent a replacement pronto and didn't charge me for it. Same deal on the turner. Something in the motor went bad and they sent a new part quickly and for no cost. If I ever decide to buy another incubator I would definitely go with them.

My Genesis works great. I actually have the Hovabator from the TSC also (the one with no fan). It worked okay. I've had much better hatches in the Genesis. If you are buying eggs it is totally worth it to get the more expensive unit. I've had much, much fewer failed eggs in it.

Goose and Fig, they are gorgeous! I love the colored ones. I've never seen any marked like that. Very pretty!
Thanks! I have been working on building a good colored flock for a few years. Geese are the best.

I had to get replacement parts on the Genesis as well- they shipped it UPS right away and no charge. Highly recommend. But no matter what you get, always good to have a back-up. And lots of "hot hands" in case of a power outage.

NO I got it off line. We were going to build our own but it was going to be more expensive then just buying one. There is a member here on BYC that makes and sells for a reasonable price.. He test them out and makes sure everything is working properly.. Look up corancher.
