I have a breeds page in my sight it would be great to have a Tennessee breeders page. I am sure you know I don't have any of those...unless you judge a bit I do have blacked laced reds.....look a lot like Golden's, only better.

Black laced red wyendottes ? Yep I need 1& 1 tolbunt polish & 1 white crested black polish then I'm done! Except the gold laced cochin & polish. Dang chicken math, atleast my wife quit complaining. We had a friend tell her that God showed her that her businesses was tied directly to my eggs. Hey I don't know how but I'll take it.

My wife is baking cakes, cup cakes, making fudge, cookies,sweet breads, pies etc... Trying to get a start on a business. She uses my eggs to bake when I have them. She had talked about opening a meat & 3 type restaraunt. But wanted to do lunch only, I told her she needed to do breakfast too atleast to start with.

No rush he doesn't have a coop or anything, I might have to get some just so he can see them grow. If you don't mind me asking , where did you get yours ?

I hatched from eggs that I purchased. Also have white crested black polish, buff laced. I needed a hobby and love the fancier breeds. Starting on silkies next.

We need to start a breeders list. Who breeds what etc... My brother may be interested in getting chickens, I never would have thought it would happen. Well now that I think about.it for a second he has the right stuff for hatching. A good size basement & garage & an acre for them to browse. That said does anyone here have cochins? Gold laced? Maybe even gold laced pollish. I'm just trying to find the breeds he thinks he wants, thanks.

This is actually a great idea about a breeders list. It would make life so much easier! we have a Gold Laced split (to Tolbunt) Polish girl... the GL babies come out mostly Gold Laced with a few white feather tips (like the Tolbunt pattern).
