Chad I will take the Marans back. I lost all but 2 Ameraucana girls so I have room.

That'll work you can grab a BW cockerel as well :)

I have 7 survivors and 5 are boys. 4 bw. Maybe Donna can use him-no way I can drive to Nashville again to drop these off so they are going to local guy.

I am trying to barter geese and furniture or sawmill work and some cash for a decent 2 horse trailer. Anybody looking to sell one please email me. I don't get notifications of PMs.

is he from smith's birds or mine or somewhere else? I am going to sell my flock and would like a new roo.

Question for you xperts out there. We have a blue cochin that is about 24 weeks old but hasn't laid yet. her head is pretty dark so she doesn't even appear to be reddening although honestly, it would be very hard to tell. I'm assuming these birds may just develop more slowly than some of the other breeds?

well hubby helped me move some birds around today so soon I will have a few new breeds for hatching

crested cream legbar
rhodebars
white Ameraucanas
Birchen and blue birchen Marans

already hatching

white wyandottes
choc laced wyandotte project started

I am sure there is something else I forgot.....lol so many new breeds

I woke up this morning thinking we had a turkey in the back yard... all that gobbling noise. Turns out it was one of the young roos, trying to crow! Laughed my head off!
