Well I am going to sell my Black Copper Marans flock. Had a buyer but it did not work out. I have 6 hens and 1 rooster. They are not perfect but are coming along nicely. I need to make room for some other colors and breeds. I have been working with these guys for a couple of years and made many culls, they started out as Wade Jean hens and I have 1 pure WJ hen left (she is 3 I think) the others are Wade/Davis mixed lines and are all less than 2 years. All lay a decent colored egg and all but 1 have good copper and good leg feathers. If you want a good started flock to continue the work this is it. PM me for price and I will try and get some pictures up this week.

He is gorgeous! I love cochins. I have two cochin hens, Professor Eagleton and Dorothy Hamill (my avatar), who are the sweetest hens anyone could ask for. Even sweeter than my silkies. And they're great to hug because they are just giant puffballs of feathers!

There is a seller on ebay from Hoenwald that has Colombian Silkies and Blue Frost colors. His photos are very nice. He has been having a weekly auction there for the past month. You could look and see and bid on the auction or contact him (click on his name to pm him).
 
yeah....getting some work done to fix the leaking in my coop......barring too. love that!

Troy he is going to build a new pitched roof with clear plastic corrugated roofing he traded for 2 hens lol. I have to buy a few sheets but not many. going to make sure it is well ventilated over the runs too.

I can move some birds soon! yippy!!!!!!!!!!!

BTW he is not doing the work for chickens..... there is a car engine involved too.......might get some more work for chickens too lol.

turned into the whole car and not just the engine.
