If anyone is hankering for a 'real' heritage turkey for Thanksgiving dinner, we will have fresh processed USDA inspected turkeys for sale Tuesday. Antibiotic-free, hormone-free, hatched and raised on our farm and allowed to free range daily. Black, Bronze, Bourbon Reds....from 6-20 pounds. They are being processed tomorrow and available for pick-up in Shelbyville or Lynchburg on Tuesday. I am giving an herb cranberry brining base with each turkey, along with cooking instructions and a good recipe. $5 per pound (cheaper than cheap steak!) Please IM me if you want one. I have a limited number left to sell. I also have live turkeys for sale- 6-9 months old. Bourbon Red, Sweetgrass, Royal Palm, Bronze, Black, and a few Blue Slate jakes. $30 each.

I hatched my first LAVENDER MARANS! well it is Isabelle but still! YEAH! I have had 3 small hatches so far and this is the FIRST Lavender ...... YIPPY!

I know you need a pic



Now to work on the COPPER and egg color. I have the tools for that.

troy are you feeling better? we moved the hatcher to the farm and my son is going to help wire it....yeah!

he is a single man now.....he ran that ......hum...... I can't think of anything nice to call her..... off.
