The Middle Tennessee Thread

I just wanted to give a big thumbs up to Niko and Co in Walling, TN, who processed our turkeys today. Nice clean facility with a USDA inspector. The finished birds were vacuum packed, and labelled with our farm name, weight and the inspection stamp, and packed into our coolers with ice. The price was very good too. Made me decide I don't ever want to process my own birds! I can recommend them with confidence!

Thanks for letting us know.

It is _always_ helpful to get feedback from real ppl about a bis. or service they have used that I might be looking for someday. I imagine they are too far for me also, but still knowing you used them and are happy is a good piece of info. which could come in handy sometime.

my computer just died!!!!! aaahhhhh

I think it is the motherboard......hubby has an extra. ...can't believe that. lets hope it works.....

I was talking to someone the other day in the TN area who had buttonquail eggs. I can't find which thread I was talking to her on and hoped that she is on here or someone knows who she is. I was kinda hoping to get some for the New Year's Hatchalong.

Does anybody else raise Call Ducks? I have become so addicted to them!

I have several extra Sebastopols from 2013 hatch that I am looking to sell or trade for smaller waterfowl or building materials. They are really nice geese, I just have way more than I need for next breeding season.

I'm trying to find eggs for the NYDHatchalong (setting the eggs Dec 11)
My very wonderful cousin tried to buy the following for me from a NIPP breeder

> 5 Leghorn Eggs- Mille Fleur
> 10 Marans Eggs- French BBS Copper
> 5 Sussex Eggs- Speckled
> 10 Easter Egger Eggs

but the hens aren't laying so it is back ordered until end of Jan or whenever...

If anyone knows a dependable source I can point my wanting to buy a gift cousin towards pls pm me,
I'd really love to get the above or similar in time for set Dec 11...
