Hey silver rock. Im n collinwood not to far frm ya. Dnt knw much bout penciled rocks. Jus gettn into chickens. Are they good layers? How much for ur hatching eggs?

Good morning all! Wanted to share that I got an incubator and put some eggs in it from my girls for the first time and today on day #9 I finally saw one move! So cool! I definitely am going to have to get a different light to candle with though, cannot see a thing in the blue and green eggs. What do you all use?

Silver Penciled Plymouth Rocks are good layers and are also very dependable winter layers as well. Being that you are just getting started into chickens I will make you a offer as I have my incubator fired up and want to check the fertility of my Silver Penciled Rock breeder males. So if it is ok with you I will start gathering up eggs to put in the incubator and around a month or so I will give you the chicks that hatch. This would work out great for me as to have someone close by that also is breeding the Silver Penciled Plymouth Rocks would be nice.

Didn't I send you some Olive Eggers?  They are the ones with ML on the dark eggs.  I can put you down for some wheaten ams around the first of next month.... I can move that based on my FEED NEEDS lol. 

Ormond???? she got some sebrights..... My neighbor might have some Goldens soon.  She is picking some up tomorrow I think.

I have about 23 silver sebright chicks right now almost a week old. I will be getting 50 more at the end of this month. Still searching for some show sebrights, so I can get added on to this breeding list lol.

Do you have bantom sebrights? I did get about 3 OE. I just candled them this morning and we have lots of growing chicks! Some of the very dark maran eggs, I could see nothing, but I expect that. Even if I see nothing, I will take them ask the way to hatch because this is my first time. No to go build my brooders. Thank you Rippy!

TSC in Ashland city has speckled Sussex and silkies straight run. the silkies look white and cream chipmunk striped with head spots.
