The babies played outside today such a gorgeous day I got one run up and when it warms up another will go up whew lots of work for a day off.... a few other pics....

@elorraine52 @CityGirlintheCountry has Blue and Splash Ams. you might want to hit her up down the road for some chicks. I will just have Lavs and Splits for a few months then I might make some blacks. I have some Black Am eggs coming so hopefully I will get them going in the fall better. This year I might not have any Lavs or Ams to sell since my birds didn't fare to well through the winter. I do have several roos but not so many pullets. I will keep those till I have replacements.

Just put AM eggs in the bator, so I should have chicks soon. Yay! I am late hatching this year. I am ready for babies again!

Last week I went in and they had some Cuckoo Marans, so some had to come home with me.

Hi everyone! Did we all enjoy the nice weather yesterday?!? I was able to let my silkies go outside, some for the first time.

I totally forgot about this thread and haven't posted since page 12 which was about three years ago!

I didn't realize there were so many poultry people around me. When I lived in NE N.C. I felt like I was in a poultry desert. I have a mixed backyard flock, my 12 year old son has an egg selling business that targets shops in Savannah, and I have way too many chickens on order and need to stay out of TSC and the Co-Op!

I am in Savannah, my name is Jessica, and I am addicted to chickens! lol Maybe I can remember this thread once in a while and not let it go 1300 pages without reading it

I know pretty isn't he. From what I can gather he is half Ameraucana and Araucana, so an EE. I don't have any wheaten hens presently, but that is definitely on my list of wants. Right now only have the 3 RIR and 6 EE hens.
