The Middle Tennessee Thread

I'm on day 4 of the new hatch and trying to watch my fertility, growth, and hatchabilty in my eggs very carefully. Right now I'm pretty focused on the fertility in particular, but also noting everything else to study the results. Looks like so far with all questionables counted as clears on paper that my fertility rate is about 82% for this roo and his ratio.
But my question is, what is an "acceptable" % for selling hatching eggs? I know you cant guarantee a hatch or fertility but what would you say is acceptable in your opinion to sell them fairly?

I have 40 fluffy butts from my 44 that went to lockdown for the Easter Hatch A Long. I started with 75 but had several that were not fertile and never started of course. One more hatch to be done the first of May and then finished except for what I might get from Donna later. Have a wonderful day chicken friends! We are planting 3 gardens today. Oh the aching back!!

Sorry can't make it….I'm hosting a bridal shower for my daughters best friend that afternoon

I am working on getting transport to fetch the turkey poults that are going to hatch for Cinco de Mayo at Donna's. My Plan A fell through. I am looking for someone who is interested in swapping the transport for a share of the turkeys. At this point it looks like 5 to 7 of the 9 eggs will hatch on the 5th. Transport needs to be on the 6th, Tuesday. I am in the Goodlettsville area and Donna is between Nashville and Ashland City.
