I want to show off some of the rare breed chicks I hatched this year. These are Isbars and Swedish Flower Hens. Both are originally from Sweden and were initially imported by Greenfire Farm. These guys have just started laying and we are looking good for 2016!

I'm assuming the top 3 are isbars and the bottom 4 are SFH?

Oh, wow!! The Isbars all look dark eyed, yes? Are they from GFF's 1st import then?

Yes. These are all first import. They are from Walli Johnson and Candi Johnson eggs. The green leg bands are Walli's. There are more pictures on the Isbar USA FB page.

That's Ragnar. He is the king of the front pasture. He has a bunch more flowers than showed up on the picture. He is a really good boy and keeps the peace. I can't wait for chicks!
