The Middle Tennessee Thread

I finally got the ducks to stand still for a pic! Does anyone know if the white bib is normal for Cayuga ducks? I'm thinking maybe they are just bad quality.
They're not supposed to, but happens... hatchery bought? And been hearing that even good quality ones start going white after their first year too... every molt they go whiter...

Yes they are from ideal hatchery. I haven't been able to find anyone locally with any.

Yep, I know someone else who got very similar Cayugas from Ideal... think they need to change their breeder stock...

Sorry, I don't know anyone around here with Cayugas... and all I raise in ducks is Calls... :/

I will know for sure Saturday but I feel sure I am going to have to stop hatching till July. My son is competing in a singing contest through our church and if he wins Saturday we are going to MO in July and I don't want to have little chicks or eggs cooking for anyone that helps take care of the birds while we are gone. Anyway.... here is a link to what I will have available to sell in eggs... might even sell some breeders in a few weeks.

Ok so tsc chick days are going to end tomorrow if i'm correct and things are moving quite slowly with the getting chickens in my family. Does any one around here or know somone who are sell or breeding sussexes ,easter eggers, maybe campines or black sex links. Also any barn yard mixes or other chickens are fine as long as they lay well and are friendly . So maybe I should of made my own thread but i thought it would be easier to just ask here. Thanks!

I don't have those particular breeds, but am almost always hatching and growing out many chicks... Ameraucanas, Cream Legbars, Silkies, an Aussie/Orp project, plus others...

Dunno if anyone has sussex or campines...
