We have one left..stopped breeding them though. She's coming 2 to be honest she doesn't get near a nest box but she free ranges and hides from my roos so she could be laying one of my white eggs. She wasn't hatchery stock but I don't remember the breeder I got her from now.
Jenski-hush we don't like rain on the weekends

I'm trying to secure my new chick house to let more heat out without anything getting in before Paul can get some screen doors on it..a lot too warm and a very interested puddy cat...that could reach through those wire cages and harass them-bad puddy tat

Working on selling a few more...around 30 you know just a few to get my pens down some.
Edited to add I have a real pretty bantam Ameraucana Splash roo looking for a new flock..he's very small LittleAmeraucanaMom's roo and I will let him go with 1 of my Jenski pullets if anyone wants a pair.He would make some beautiful tiny EE chicks...oh does FREE help any-if you want the pullet there is a small fee.

I wish I could help you with your flooded pen believer!

It was probably taken around June. I never use a time stamp so I forget when I took a photo, lol.

How's the chicks doing Troyer?

I just heard were supposed to get snow--is that true? :O

Look what my husband's cousin's friend gave us!!!

I haven't measured them yet but hubby said the two coops were around 15' long. They're tall enough to stand in!! What do you think-- banty coops for making pickled banty eggs?

Mottled adult roo with poor middle toe feathering but nice mottling and lots of 3-4 month old roos with better toe feathering and nice mottling all are free for the taking off my feed bill.Several nice breeder possibilities in there
1 black mottled pullet she's a keeper but I'm letting her go coming 4 months
Mille Fleur for sale-yes I'm going to share a few more..I'm a bit stingy in this department and after loosing so many MF chicks this week it will be awhile for chicks but
Adult Roo Ione bred..too dark he's mahogany but does have the MF coloring..nice boy loves his ladies
Little Roo from Nancy's eggs (Bluff Country) Hatched around Christmas I'm going to let one go 1 is going to be more calico one more Millie in pattern.

Evening all! Boy been busy the last couple of days outside. Doing a lot of moving of flowers. Cutting down ornamental grassess(all 28 clumps!) and of course messing with the chickens. Jenski yse I have some new birds, went back to Elkton last weekend and got a roo and five hens of ee bantams. They are about a third smaller than what I had! Not a lot bigger than OEGB! And a good color assortment too! So now I have two flocks of ee bantams.
After going to the feed stor my wife says I need to cut way back!

Jenski this weekend is the big Amish sale in Fairview,Ky which is just a few miles down the road fro Elkto. But thjey are calling for heavy rains so I am sure that will pretty much ruin it. I am going anyway and hopeing for the best. It is usually a huge sale so don't know how the rain will effect it.
Well I have four broody hens now and 60 eggs in a friend s incubator so should have some chicks before long!
