Not sure..these first Marans eggs I sat real quick after moving them to the Marans pen...1 looks like a pure black copper but it's not dry enough to tell for sure..the other is definitely not a Marans but possisbly a Marans Wyandotte cross-going by the color it is my Wyandotte roo should be the only candidate-it looks to be a splash with yellow tinted legs.Which is a

I have a horrid migraine but I am heading out to meet PH, they are meeting my off of the exit in town to pick up the mean, crazy, have no idea what he is rooster I have & are bringing me my replacement silkie!!! I'm so excited not to have to reach in & grab this crazy guy anymore that I will suffer through the pain...
I have decided however to keep the sweet Cochin that was supposedly a silkie, she has our hearts & we just cannot let go of her... So we will now have 7 silkies & 1 beautiful Cochin (I know nothing about them but she isn't going anywhere so I guess I'll have to learn)
