How about 10 at Dillards-not the food court side then they won't be in the car a real long time. If you want some of those Barnies I can pick them up and bring them with me...and while I was there picking them up who knows what I may find

Next time on the Barnies. I just have 4 pens. One with the reds, one for the marans and one for the EE and one is going to have the rocks but it is housing all the new roos right now till I can do something permanent. Hubby has some ideas I like so we will see. I can put about 25-30 in each pen so I still have plenty of room just no room for more breeds. Hubby wants to build a big hen house in the back pasture so I can have 100 layers now what am I going to do with all those eggs???? How do yall get rid of your eggs???

That time and place are fine!!! Call me friday morning just so we both know everything is on schedule!!!

Right now it's not very hard to get rid of my 2-3 eggs I'm getting every day

...but when I had 100 I sold eating eggs..no money in it though once you pay the feed bill unless your lucky enough to get those high prices and if you don't feed them well they don't lay as well so we sold them all...plus dealing with some people it's just

Ok Becky how many Dels do you have hiding over there?

Holly - I only have one hen and one young roo the hen is in the laying flock because of a slightly crossed beak and I was not sure about breeding her (not sure if it was incubator or genetic) she is sweet and lays a couple a week and in this heat that is better than some of my others! If you want the hen I will give you the roo these are the last of my Dels.

Hey Holly, how much for the mottled cochin chicks? There is a fair show in Lebanon August 13th, I think....doing the rabbit show and not the poultry show. Therefore, if you need a broken chestnut lionhead doe that is a great breeder (although thin), hit me up

So I could pick up chicks after the show, looks like! I am always looking for more mottleds.

The chicks are $3 each as long as they leave soon..several have just hatched this week. I also have some pretty decent hens available...really cutting back on that flock to my roo and 3 possibly 4 hens
Hmm don't tempt me on the bunny...my lionhead has 6 kits right now and I'm sure we will be keeping a few since they are not related to my buck.Is she double maned?

The broken chestnut doe? She is gazillion maned! LOL. She is just over 2.5 years old and still has pretty decent mane which seems hard to find. The lady who owned her prior to me gave her a bad haircut, so she is still growing back.

Here she was a month ago.

She is fully pedigreed and her entire pedigree is Roy's (bred by Garett's but with two Roy bunnies and all their lines going back are Roy's). Are you familiar with Lionhead lines? Roy is GOOD. She won Best of Breed with her black at Nationals last year and Best of Breed the year prior as well

This is a couple hundred dollar bunny. The previous owner got quite a few litters out of her....I took her cause I felt sorry for her and have just been letting her hang out. I don't need any chestnuts as I work in the shaded variety myself.

Got any pix of your hens?

Now that's just not playing fair

She's beautiful. Most of my lionheads are chestnut..we play with the lionheads more..it's our Holland lops that are the show bunnies around here but they do want to do more than them..She looks like she could fit in around here somewhere

I can get some pics of the ladies..they are all raising or have been raising chicks so now I'm working on making them look like chickens again..they get thinner than I would like them to.There is also one blue mottled pullet from last winter I may let go...part of the cutting back to make more room for the MF ..The chicks are all from my roo that I bought from Ausinheart back in May and most of the chicks are from their hens as well.

Alright gimme pix! I have been considering selling off part of my mottled flock....but now I'm not so sure. Considering keeping a few just for breeding, giving them a major chop cut and showing the others.

Ignore the seriously dusty cobwebby coop...the shavings are clean

Did I ever show you what that pretty splash rooster I got from you turned out to look like? I ended up trading him to Amy in SC for a black mottled pullet. She is using him in one of her breeding programs.....he was GORGEOUS. He was only what 5 months or so in these pix? 6 months?
