I've had the power go out and my back up alarm fail..the bator dropped to 74 and still had a great hatch..think mine this time was low for a few days though..I was so busy I didn't check it.I don't give up but I won't help them any more.

Donna is done for the year basically because by the time the next hatch would hatch it will be the new Year

yeah I know I make that same claim..a break for the Holidays then plan for the New Years Day hatch

AND hubby said we HAVE to finish my house in ashland city and move soooo no hatching till then.

Hey everyone. This is totally off topic, but I need to use every resource I have available and I apologize for using this forum. There has been a recent rampage of dogs getting stolen from our little town. This happens about every two years. My Bella Grace has been missing since yesterday afternoon (10-23-2011). She's never met a stranger and will jump in any car for the change to go for a ride. She is a 4 year old Miniature American Eskimo. Spayed, up to date on all Vaccinations. She's wearing a small pink collar with rhinestones but you'd have to move her hair to see it. LOVES children. People steal dogs to resell them. If anyone in the Mid-TN area sees her or hears of someone who just got a dog like this, PLEASE call me! I've attached the Flyer Pic. Please help me find my beautiful Bella Grace and bring her home!

I must have got you real good...you are using all of my rational thinking on hatching

I quit around the Holiday's then the test hatches to make sure everyone is working for Spring and then before you know it....
How you get around the hubby...you just don't tell him until after you have them started...my old saying It's easier to ask for forgiveness than permission

Once they are started he won't want you to kill them now would he?
I don't have anything in the bator but a bunch of buns in the oven for almost 2 more weeks.

I like the cookies with chicks idea a lot...everyone needs to munch and I'll have all the cookies anyone would want to munch on

.It's hard to believe cookie season is nearly upon us once again...400 boxes must be sold this year HELP

I think hubby likes this as much as I do. He is right there beside me every step I take. He does tell me NO sometimes but usually come around. He loves the babies. He plays with them more than I do... I get to do all the work and he plays

He said test hatches are fine, cuz I have to know what I am selling right? And they are crosses I want too. He likes all the eggs too! "You need a hundred layers" I can't tell you how many times I have heard that one

I had 100 layers never again..oops I meant sure you need more come get some

The only one's I cant sell are the MFCochin's,Sam and his lady and the Stripey chickens as Ethan calls them..we call them Barred Rocks.Everything else is fair game including the last Blue Rock here,Marans,RIR,Naked Necks,Wyandotte,and more.The kids are begging for more fun time with less chickens.
And if someone can use a black fluffy Silkie hen I sure could sell this one
