What's that like. Is that the one where you are insulin dependent?
Yes, type 1 is when the pancreas doesn't produce enough insulin for the body on its own.
It's an experience. It's been quite educational, too. It took some getting used to, definitely, but it just seems normal by now (thank the Lord for helping me adapt to it). It can still be a pain (low blood sugars, sicknesses being more fussy to deal with, stomach bugs being more concerning).
Basically, I need to keep my blood sugar in a particular range (it varies from person to person), and do this by counting carbohydrates in my meals and taking the proper number of units of insulin to cover the carbs -- this is done with a (again, varying) ratio of carbs to insulin. I currently have a ratio of 5:1, which means that I take one unit of insulin for every five grams of carbohydrates.
It's also pushed me towards nursing as a career, so there's another upside.

Something like this. I've always seen it but never tried

It was pretty good, I love the ice cream there.
What does everyone do for work? If you even have a job or all you just students
I’ve tried applying to a number of places but I’ve never had a job so they require ‘work experience’ but I’ve never worked so how do they expect me to have experience 😅
But right now I’m just a student
