No, they don't make good pets, they make FABULOUS pets! My IRs weren't skittish. When they're on one side of the yard and I'm on the other, they always came to me! They always let me pet them! I really recommend them.

Yeh I had 1 (barn cat) but he walked away. He still hangs around the neighborhood but doesn't do us any good.
