Hi! We are newbies to the chicken world! We started by purchasing eggs to hatch. We were told we purchased 6 Ayam Cemani eggs and 12 Zombie eggs….what hatched I’m not so sure. 2 girls for sure look like Zombies, Betty and Vickie, our 2 trouble makers. They are the first to try anything new and excellent escape artists! One hen that is black with a dark red hued comb, Junior, stand off-ish. A solid black Roo, Daryl, he’s not aggressive but definitely the leader of the flock. A solid black hen, Karyl, doesn’t seek out attention but accepts it when given. The last egg to hatch looks like a white faced black Spanish Roo. He has the most personality I have ever seen! He comes running and wants to be picked up and carried around. He goes by many names… Little Juan, Mija, but primarily Hey-Hey! Then I couldn’t pass up 2 adorable silkie frizzle hens!!! We named them after our grandmothers, Ray-Ray and Willie. They are THE sweetest chickens and love to cuddle! So that’s our flock!
