The Missing Heir RP

Kira dismounted and tied her mare to a tree then slipped soundlessly into the woods to hunt for something for their supper.

Aeron quickly spotted a root plant and dug up its edible tubers, finding that there was enough of them for everyone in the group, he returned to camp, siting beside Karok, who was manning the fire.

Isabella loosened the straps to her horses saddles and pulled off a few packs of the little pack pony. She patted the pony on the rump before sitting down leaning against a tree rummaging through her bag for a change of clothes.

Karok too great care to arrange the stone, fire wood, and ground tinder into a patter. Fire art was popular to Zurians and fires in patterns or burning effigies are common in the cities. This particular pattern was a star. With a quick swipe, he struck the two stones and the tinder was ablaze. Slowly it would burn the wood to reveal the symbol.

Agatha scoffed at Lena's tone. "And what do ya think of shaman runes mage? I know it eleven magic is worthless." The candles were lit, the runes aranged, and a few items such as stone and rock salt layer upon the blanket. Agatha waved her thin fingers to Aeron. "My boy..."

(It's Lena who's the elf! ;-) )

Lena scowled slightly, This crone knows nothing, poor thing... she thought in a sarcastic way, then replied, facing politeness, "Methinks, that as long as it works for thee, then ye should use it. But, I most disagree with ye about my own kinds act, I am well versed in it..." She gave a half smile.

Kira hunted through the forest, using her arrows to great effect. She made her way back to the group with five rabbits and three squirrels slung over her shoulder. She gave a low whistle as she drew near to the camp to alert them that she was coming in so that no one would be startled by her sudden appearance.

Aeron heard Agatha and said, "I wilt be right over." the whistle then caught his attention and he quickly looked around, seeing Kira coming from the woods, he smiled and motioned for her to join Karok at the fire. Aeron then stood and walked over to where Lena was talking to Agatha.

By e'en, Connor and Ariana were approaching the Capital, the castle was grand, towering over them as they travailed closer and closer. "Where dost ye think we should start?" He asked, thinking about there options.

"Col, I am freezing!" Naveen whined, it was not that cold yet, but the sun was setting fast.
"Yea, my Lady, I wilt have us a fire soon." Col grumbled as built up the small branches, that he had gathered from the sparse trees nearby.
They had stopped for the night by the Dragon river, that wound by the mountains, which gradually rose to the west, stretching from north to south. Col placed the small, enchanted stone under the wood, whispered to it as he had the night before, and stood, turning to face Naveen with a blazing fire behind him.
"See? I told thee I'd have us a fire, my Lady." He smirked, as she came closer to the warmth.

Col had not realized that the search party's were so close at hand, the dark haired man that Aeron had recognized and his companions only being five or so miles away, the second group at six miles being Aeron's, and the third was Nanami and Thea, who where eight miles away but farther north. With some daylight still left, the smoke from Col and Naveen's fire were clearly visible with the backdrop of the setting sun beyond the mountains.

"Well, ain't that interesting..." said the dark haired man in a low voice to the other men, watching the smoke in the distance spiral into the darkening sky as he sharpened his sword...

Kira smiled and went over to Karok with the rabbits and started preparing them to cook. She smiled at him as she worked.

"Where she left from" Arianna answered and looked around the area. She moved her horse along the surrounding wall, looking for anything out of the ordinary.
