The Missing Heir RP

Thea and Nanami had made camp for the night, and were now on the road again that morning, riding towards the mountains.

"Whither is this friend of thy's that thee wish to accompany us?" Thea asked politely as the snow that Aeron, Karok, Agatha and Kira were already deep in a few miles ahead, began to reach them, slowly at first, but thickening quickly. Thea pulled her cloak tite around her, and put its hood up, which help against the cold.

Karok stopped his horse and stared intently at the men. "Your orders?" He asked while looking to Aeron. It certainly seemed that the men were dangerous as they hauled several weapons.

Agatha glared at the men. She knew of them but, would not act unless it was Aerons intent.

Aeron stopped as well, resting his right hand on the hilt of the sword, which was concealed under his long cloak. He quickly looked to Karok, and opened his mouth to answer when...

"Gents, we have company!" I balding man with a gray streaked beard called to the others in a gruff voice, stopping and turning his horse back to face them. There were five men in all, and the others turned to face them just as the first one had.
"Ye'm can'a come closer'z, we'z done'ta bitez!" Another man yelled in slurred, broken English, he was thinner than the other and had a full head of bristly blond hair.

The men began to ride towards them...

Kira glanced to Aeron, her hand moving to touch her bow so she could pull it quickly if needed. She had her hood up by then so her features were hidden and she looked like a child sitting on the mare with the others around her. Having her horse near the Zurians made her look even smaller than normal, though that was just a trick of perspective and unintentional.

Slowly, Karok slid out of his saddle and grasped his shield tightly. He was ready for combat should the men initiate. His rill was dyed red and his muscles were tense.

Agatha dismounted as well. "If ye move close ye will provoke us." She stated to the men. Agatha prefered to talk out of situations rather than fight. The earth goddess of the Zurians rarely condoned violence.

Aeron slid from his steed as well, hood up, prepared for a fight, maybe a bit too eager to try his newly reclaimed sword.

The five men slowed, stopping at about thirty feet away. "Art ye goin' attack us? Ye think ye have'a chance!" A burly, red hair man questioned with an amused smile.

"Quiet, Bogdan," The bearded man spoke up quickly, he seemed to be their leader, and the man named Bogdan, shut his mouth immediately, and the bearded man continued, "My apology, the gents art just excited to be on the road again. I am Dalibor, that is Elis, and there's Sture," he indicated the man with broken English, then a brown haired man with a cruel smirk, "and this is Randel, our archer." Dalibor indicated the dark haired man towards the back.

"Who might ye be? Thy on the search for the princess, am I correct?" Dalibor asked, looking to each of them in turn.

(Editing because I forgot the 'L' in Randel!)

Kira stayed on her horse, watching the men quietly. She was prepared to draw and fire her bow at a signal from Aeron. She let her eyes go soft, taking in their surroundings as much as she could with her hood up and covering her features that would give her species away. Whatever the reason, she didn't trust the humans

Karok remained tense and awaited orders from Aeron. He Zurian knew that the men were dangerous company. "We seek the heir but, what of yourselves?"

Agatha, however, glared to the group with her rill dyed black. It was far too many years that her boy had hunted for this group. Now that the men were found, she was uncertain if she should inform Aeron of the terrible truth. "Say to me, what do ye think of the wildfolk?" She asked hoping that one may slip up and clue Aeron in on their identities.

"Aye, we seek the lass, and we have some clue as to her whereabouts as well," Dalibor said, posed, then continued, "We're off to them mountains." He was not worried about this odd group finding the heir before him and the lads, these two Zurians had a little girl and an Elf with them for crying out loud, and a young boy, who by his height, couldn't be more then sixteen.

The men looked to Agatha at her question, and Sture, the cruel looking man who had not yet spoken, answer quickly in a smooth tone, "Bethinks, them's one splendid race, and the ladies–" Dalibor cut him off with a look, "They art a good race, why'd ye ask?" He responded before one of the other men could make any more rude comments.

Aeron had kept quite, he was under the impression that he and Kira were supposed to stay that way, and let Karok and Agatha do the talking. But at Sture's comment, he couldn't help but look to the man quickly, and his hood fell back, revealing his features; long dark hair, light skin, and emerald eyes.

The dark haired man in the back, Randel, then spoke up with surprise in his mellow voice, "Ah, ye have one among thee,"

"Aye, and me name is Malcom," Aeron said firmly, trying to gain some advantage over them, but the group just looked confused, and Elis laughed, blurting something unintelligible.

With a hiss, Agatha glared to the archer. "Yes, one of Wildfolk...this one shares your blood." The riddle would be obvious to Aeron she had hoped. Despite Aerons emerald eyes, he was nearly a mirror image of Randel. Even their voices shared a soothing tone and it made Agatha cringe.

Karok did not take to the laughter of the men well. He moved to place himself between the men and Aeron as if to block their insults.
