Sky slammed the door. They walked back over to the tv, and turned it back on. They weren’t that interested in watching Netflix anymore, but Sky just wanted to be passive aggressive. After turning the tv to max volume, again, they went over to their room and pulled out their laptop from under the bed. After waiting for the old thing to boot up, Sky looked at the news. More people were becoming monsters, but that was obvious. What else would be happening?

Emily's fingers wrapped against the handle and pushed hard. Nothing. If Emily wasn't in such a dire situation, she probably would've laughed at herself or smacked her forehead on an open palm. Of course, it was pull. She pulled open the door and ran inside

Jean picked her kitchen knife up, a grin on her face. "Ready as I'll ever be." She strolled forward until she was right behind him and gave him a thumbs up.

Zayne sighed, exiting the apartment. No point in stalling, he thought, looking up and down the hall.
At first glance there wasn’t any signs of the monsters, but the screams told him they weren’t far. He crept down the hallway, in the direction the elevator was. If there were monsters, that was probably where they would be.

Jean swallowed, her throat feeling tight. "It... Should be fine. Maybe we could go back to my room? I have a taser... I dunno if that would be much of a help."
She shivered, then pasted a desperate grin on her face. "Either way, we got this, with both of us together, it'll be harder to kill us!"

Zayne nodded eagerly, happy for the chance to get a better weapon and to avoid the monsters, even if it only made them stall for a few minutes. “Taser, perfect,” he said, moving towards her apartment door. He stopped, realizing he had no idea where she lived. “Uh, lead the way.”

Blake gritted his teeth. He'd forgotten that he had had it in his hand. He beat the monster with the shoe, before it stuck. The monster's suction released him momentarily, however, and he stumbled backwards.
Aisling laughed as she did a triple bang on a monster she had kicked over. The poor monster had its head stuck in the floor
