Emily was working on making her way back to her room. She stopped. Was it even safe here now? Would that man who saved her discover that she was living by herself, underage?

Jean smiled, cutting in front of him. "I live at the end of the hallway, next to the elevator." She began jogging down the corridor, tensing at every noise. It had become too quiet all of a sudden.Zayne nodded eagerly, happy for the chance to get a better weapon and to avoid the monsters, even if it only made them stall for a few minutes. “Taser, perfect,” he said, moving towards her apartment door. He stopped, realizing he had no idea where she lived. “Uh, lead the way.”
Blake shoved it in his mouth to make sure his hand was free to fight with. He then stood, grabbing her wrist. "We need to go."Aisling looked down at the monster. "Oh...well, because you didn't scream when I did that, I'll give you one of my cookies." She bent down and gave one to it.
He left the room, pulling her along by her wrist. "You should be a kindergarten teacher."Aisling nodded and scrambled to her feet. She knew that while practicing Irish Dance on them was fun, it wasn't going to keep the monsters from infecting them forever. She gave a cookie to each monster. "Pleasure meeting you all. Remember, don't infect strangers...there's a thing called Stranger Danger." She smiled at each of them, then turned to Blake. "Okay, let's go now."
Jean smiled, cutting in front of him. "I live at the end of the hallway, next to the elevator." She began jogging down the corridor, tensing at every noise. It had become too quiet all of a sudden.
Jean began shoving things around, flushing in embarrassment at how messy it was. She opened the drawer in her desk and found the taser.Zayne followed closely behind her, keeping an eye on his surroundings. He noticed how silent it was, and the lack of noise made his skin crawl.
Maybe they left? He thought, but it seemed too suspicious.
He followed Jean inside her apartment, looking around. She really wasn’t kidding when she said it was full of art supplies.
Blake sighed. "Are you... Okay? Mentally, I mean."Aisling frowned. "Now why would I ever be that? I'm working to compete at the Worlds Championship, and then I'm going to teach Irish Dance. Unless...I taught Irish Dance to kindergarteners." A smile lit up her face.
Kit sighed, leaving the room and walking back to hers. "I need to write out everything that's going on." As she drew closer to her apartment, she heard loud noises coming from Sky's room. It sounded like the TV. She smiled faintly. Then she remembered that she had left her notebooks in Sky's room.Sky slammed the door. They walked back over to the tv, and turned it back on. They weren’t that interested in watching Netflix anymore, but Sky just wanted to be passive aggressive. After turning the tv to max volume, again, they went over to their room and pulled out their laptop from under the bed. After waiting for the old thing to boot up, Sky looked at the news. More people were becoming monsters, but that was obvious. What else would be happening?
