The Monster Inside ***An apocalyptic thriller RP***

Is this a good idea?

  • Yes, you should make some more of these types of thriller RPs!!!

  • Yeah, I guess it's kinda cool, but a little scary for my taste.

  • Nah, too freaky. *bundles in blanket to ward off bad guys*

  • Yes, I think it's a cool idea, but I would prefer if you made other types of RPs.

‘ Uh, what magazine is it? If it’s People, yes. If it’s National Geographic, no.’
Seeing that it was a People magazine, Kit left the question unanswered, instead moving to Jean's side, kneeling. She gingerly touched the swollen ankle, and Jean winced, tensing.

"I think it may be broken," Kit said, a bit uncertain. "Either that or it is bruised really badly."

"It's broken." Jean said shortly. "I felt it crack."

Kit nodded, then proceeded to bandage and splint the swollen ankle with the magazine. She pulled over a footstool. "Keep it elevated."

Jean nodded, laying her head back and resting her foot on the stool. She glanced over at Zayne, and realized that there was blood on his shirt. Human blood. "Hey, you're bleeding!" She gasped, another pang of guilt flashing through her. I am so selfish. I wasn't even paying attention to whether he had wounds or not.

Zayne backed up when Kit approached, thankful he didn’t have to do anything. He lowered himself to the ground, closing his eyes. Fighting the monster had drained his energy more than he would’ve liked.
He listened to Sky and Sarah discuss nails and hair, his lips twitching into a frown. With everything that’s been going on, they’re worried about looking good? He thought.
He jumped as Jean announced he was bleeding. He hadn’t forgotten - the dull ache was too strong - but now that he was thinking about it, it felt even worse.
“Yeah. . .” He said slowly, looking down at his shoulder. “The monster clipped me while I was distracted.”

Jean pushed Kit away from her. "Go help him!"

Kit sighed, "Okay, okay!" She stepped over to Zayne and got down on her knees, eyeing his wound. "You're going to have to take off your shirt so I can work better."

He glanced at Kit as she knelt next to him, shaking his head. “It’s not that bad,” he said. “It’s just a scratch.” He pulled his shirt off anyway, keeping his hoodie on his lap.
Zayne glanced at the wound, feeling nauseous as he saw the dark, crimson blood that stained his skin. “Okay. . . Maybe it’s a little bad.” He looked away, his lip curling in disgust. He wasn’t a fan of wounds with large amounts of blood, such as the one he had. It didn’t matter if they were his or someone else’s, it always made him squeamish.
