The Monster Inside ***An apocalyptic thriller RP***

Is this a good idea?

  • Yes, you should make some more of these types of thriller RPs!!!

  • Yeah, I guess it's kinda cool, but a little scary for my taste.

  • Nah, too freaky. *bundles in blanket to ward off bad guys*

  • Yes, I think it's a cool idea, but I would prefer if you made other types of RPs.

Sky looked on their phone for any information on these monsters, but nothing was showing up. They let out a sigh and continued searching, desperate for any possible tips about how to deal with them.

Looking on Twitter, they realized just how bad it was outside. There were pictures of dead bodies strewn across the streets, pictures of monsters in the process of making those dead bodies too. Sky started feeling nauseous looking at all of the pictures, but they couldn’t stop themselves from looking for more. It was like something was making them, but after almost puking at an especially disgusting picture, they just turned their phone off.

Putting their phone back into the drawer, Sky started packing up some supplies for when they needed to leave. Let’s see, uncooked oatmeal would be a good thing to bring, protein powder would also probably be good, powdered milk, pasta, coffee? And tea, you never know when you need caffeine. Sky pulled supplies out from their pantry, leaving it strewn across the counters.

( Edited for my terrible spelling.)

“Hey, it’s okay. We both lived, right?” Zayne said, giving her a small smile. “Besides, you didn’t make me go that way. I chose to follow you, so that’s kinda on me. But, uh, if given the option, how about we try to avoid the monsters. ‘Kay?”
Jean nodded, leaning her head back and closing her eyes. "I'll let you make the decisions from now on..."

Kit glanced down at the watch on her arm. It read 1:30 am. She started. I didn't realize how late it is. Leaving the room where Zayne and Jean were, she searched for Sky.

Sky was still shoving supplies onto the counters, well, most of it was either coffee or microwave popcorn. Not really the best things for an apocalypse, but it was really all they had in their pantry.
After deciding the pile of imperishables was good enough, Sky looked out the window. It was dark, but the monsters in the streets were still visible. They let out a sigh, then noticed a small mouse nibbling at a box of crackers.
‘ Hey you, those are mine.’ Sky told the mouse, grabbing the crackers. The mouse glanced up at them, before starting to eat another box of crackers.
‘ Those are also mine.’ Sky grabbed that box, but the mouse just started to eat a bag of coffee grounds.
‘ Hey! Don’t eat that!’ Sky dropped the crackers and grabbed the bag of coffee, getting frustrated. ‘ Here, have a cookie.’ They handed the mouse a small chocolate chip cookie, and the mouse scurried back through a small hole in the wall. Sky took a cookie for themself, and started eating it. It was a good cookie, probably better than the saltines the mouse was eating.

Kit found them and watched them from the doorway for a bit, before finally speaking. "You good?"

Zayne chuckled. “Sounds good,” he replied, watching Kit as she went to find Sky. He groaned, looking at the time. It was well past midnight. He stretched, leaning against the wall. He didn’t want to overstay their welcome, but at the same time, he didn’t want to leave the safety of Sky’s apartment.

Jean scooted over on the couch to make room for Zayne, making sure to bring the stool with her. "Sit down," she said, patting the seat next to her.
