The Monster Inside ***An apocalyptic thriller RP***

Is this a good idea?

  • Yes, you should make some more of these types of thriller RPs!!!

  • Yeah, I guess it's kinda cool, but a little scary for my taste.

  • Nah, too freaky. *bundles in blanket to ward off bad guys*

  • Yes, I think it's a cool idea, but I would prefer if you made other types of RPs.

Malachi tossed the dismembered arm into the hallway before closing the doors and starting their descent to the ground floor. Once they we’re temporarily out of harms way, he sighed and leaned against the wall of the elevator as it hummed. He looked at the older curly haired girl in the corner of his eye and surrendered the Pulaski over to her. “You’re gonna need this” he murmured softly, “Those monsters are ruthless.” He was fine with his brass knuckles, even if they weren’t as affective and powerful as an axe. He couldn’t let them be helpless and vulnerable.
Aisling promptly gave the Pulaski to Emily, who almost toppled over from the sheer weight. "I've got my hard shoes," Aisling said confidently. Then she pulled out a cookie. "But thanks." She smiled and handed to cookie over to him. "Do you mind if I ask what your name is? I'm Aisling."

Aisling's heart pounded. "Alright. Don't die, okay?" She turned to go, grabbing Emily's hand as she went. She was about to round a corner when she came back. "Here...you'll need these more than me," She said, giving her most treasured pair of hard shoes. Then she was gone
(I thought she gave them away? Or does she carry another pair..?)

Razor squeezed the monster in their hands, crushing it with inhuman strength. It clawed at their arms, but the wounds only sizzled and healed. With a lumbering gait, Razor walked to the window and tossed the crumpled monster out. They then turned, seeing Zayne in the doorway. I have it handled, boy.

Zayne’s eyes widened, watching one monster crush the other. When it turned to face him, he froze. It’s voice felt like nails on a chalkboard, sending chills down his spine as it spoke to him. He backed away, his mind being made up. He would get Jean and he would find somewhere safe to hide.
He turned on his heel, fleeing to the sofa. “Jean? Jean, wake up, we gotta go now,” he said, shaking her shoulder as he cast a worried glance back at the monster.

Malachi didn’t question her choice of weapon, but if they worked—they worked. He shrugged, then raised an eyebrow at the cookie that she offered him. He wasn’t too fond of sweets, but he took it anyways just to be nice and started to nibble on it. “Malachi” he answered calmly, studying her face. “Are you two.. related? Or..”

“No, not related. Emily was attacked by the monsters. A gentleman named Blake,” Aisling’s face was twisted with grief as she said his name, “Saved her, then risked his life saving both of us later. I’m protecting her now. I’m looking for her parents, but she won’t say a word about them.”

He gave a short nod, “I wish you the best of luck Aisling.” his tone was solemn, especially after hearing a man died to protect them. That’s when they reached the designated floor and the doors opened. Malachi finished his cookie and looked out into the hall of the main lobby area. It was dead quiet, with all the action still going on far above their heads. “Hopefully her parents are still in the area..” he said, turning towards Aisling. “I guess this is goodbye.”

Aisling nodded, her face still and calm. “Good luck. And stay safe,” she added, stepping out of the elevator

Kit sighed in the recesses of her mind. Seriously? You scared him... She took control, pushing Razor back and returning to her regular size. She turned to Sky first. "Are you okay?"
~~

Jean started, eyes opening wide. "Wha? What's wrong?"
