Dont miss the show this evening, it wont be around again for another 50 years or so. At dusk, look at the crescent moon, there will be 2 very bright stars to the right of it. The one immediately right of the moon is Venus, and further right is Saturn. Dont miss it, its fabulous.

I thought it was last night too. No chance last night of seeing anything...snow and rain all night. Today too, supposed to clear up later.

I have watched the "tri-light" night show for several evenings and it is beautiful. Now it's snowing and the weather forcast for the next several days isn't condusive to stargazing so I am making plans to watch the next time it occurs. The nice thing is that it coincides with the anniversery of my retirement, so the next time it occurs I will be retired for 67 years.

well, it's been building up for some time, I saw the planets without the moon a week or so ago, it may not be the perfect set up but the days before and after are still lovely no matter what!!! Worth the effort!!!
