Moony, do you sell your chickens?

I try not too.
I used to just take the ones I had to to auction but they quit doing the poultry auction here last year.
I had to cut back this year. Hard cuts because of the price of feed now.
Also why I've hatched so few. It's been a sad year for me but I've given away a few hundred. Local hungry families. Some girls for eggs but lots of boys just to eat.
I try to be happy to be helping others but it still gets to me. I miss the years like past.

Nope can't tell at hatch.
I've hatch many many many of the gold duckwing. You know like the Welsummer that everyone says you can sex at hatch. I can't even sex them at hatch.
I don't worry too much cause you can tell in a few weeks boys are as important to me as girls.
